The city of Bikaner is situated in the northwestern part of the state of Rajasthan. Bikaner is the administrative headquarter of the district and the division of Bikaner. It is formerly known as the princely state of Bikaner formed by the Rajput Rao Bika in 1400s and with time Bikaner developed as the fifth largest city of the state.
